Upgrades & backups

Upgrading

To move to a newer version, download the latest installer for your operating system from the MACHHUB website and run it over your existing installation. Your data and settings are preserved. As a precaution, take a backup first (below).

Backups

Section titled “Backups”

MACHHUB backs up and restores your data from the console — there’s no manual file copying.

  • Go to Settings → Backups to schedule automatic backups, trigger a backup on demand, download a backup, or restore from one.
  • Backups cover your collections and records, the Historian, users, groups, and the Unified Namespace.
